While some are just spending 100k or more, others especially well-known personalities are spending millions for the special occasion.
Below is the list of the grandest weddings in Philippine history according to the Facebook page, Pinoy History.
No. 10 – Imelda and Ferdinand Marcos wedding
The former dictator and his wife tied the knot on May 1, 1954. They spend at least 2.3 million pesos.
No. 9 – Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion wedding
The Megastar and the award-winning actor got married last September 23, 1984. Their nuptials cost a whopping 7 million pesos.
No. 8 – Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff wedding
The couple spent at least 17 million pesos on their wedding abroad. They tied the knot in 2017.
No. 7 – Donna Cruz and Potenciano “Yong” Larrazabal III wedding
It was in 1998 when they held their wedding at Basilica de San Sebastian in Quiapo, Manila. They spent at least 25 million at the time.
