RABIYA MATEO – The Miss Universe Philippines 2020 responded to a netizen criticizing her about her rumored breakup with her boyfriend Neil Salvacion.
The country’s representative in the 69th edition of Miss Universe is still in the US and she is set to return to the Philippines next month.
While she’s in the US, her love life was placed in the spotlight after reports spread that she and her boyfriend Neil Salvacion broke up.
She was even linked to former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate Andre Brouillette. But she refuted such a rumor.
When asked by Boy Abunda about her boyfriend, she said: “Tito Boy, it’s a complicated situation and we need to talk about things when I go back to the Philippines, but we’re friends.”
Meanwhile, Rabiya took to image-sharing site, Instagram wherein she posted a photo of herself with the caption: “Praying for stronger spirit and tougher heart everyday.”
A netizen commented: “U can make your man stay? nasan na un? hay naku.. nakakainis ka na. basta sumisikat umiiba ang ugali.”
To which she replied: “Godbless you Maam.”
