Juan Ponce Enrile, 97, Expresses Sympathy on Noynoy Aquino’s “Untimely Demise” at 61

Former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile expressed his sympathy to the Aquino family following the “untimely demise” of ex-president Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.

The 15th president of the Republic of the Philippines passed away earlier at the age of 61.

Among those who expressed condolences to the Aquino family is no less than former senator Juan Ponce Enrile.

Here’s the statement of Juan Ponce Enrile posted on his Facebook page.

“My family and I extend our condolence to the sisters, relatives, friends, and supporters of former President of the Philippines, Benigno “Noynoy” C. Aquino, for his untimely demise.”

“We will pray for him as he travels to his final resting place in eternity. May God bless him and be with him all the way to his eternal resting place.”

A follower commented by saying: “No such thing as’ untimely’ demise. Everyone has their pre-destined time to leave this world.”

To which he replied: “He was too much young compared to me to die that soon. That was what I meant. Thank you.”
