Erap to Former President Noynoy Aquino: “Paalam, PNoy!”

Former President Joseph “Erap” Estrada expressed his condolences on the passing of Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.

In a Facebook post, he said: “Ako at ang sambayanan ay nalulungkot sa pagpanaw ni former President Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III.”

He added: “My sincere condolences to the Aquino family. Sa pagkakataong ito, ang aking tanging dasal ay bigyan kayo ng Diyos ng lakas ng loob. Paalam, PNoy!”

In the 2010 elections, Erap Estrada and Aquino became rivals in the presidential race, which the latter won.

Meanwhile, Noynoy Aquino was earlier rushed to Capitol Medical Center in Quezon City for still an undisclosed reason but later on, passed away.

The former president had been suffering from different illnesses since 2019.

In fact, he has been undergoing dialysis for the last five months and even went through heart surgery.

The son of the late Senator Benigno Aquino Jr and former president Corazon Aquino served as president from 2010 to 2016.

After his term, he has been silent and out of the public eye.
