Biazon hit BuCor director-general Gerald Bantag for the construction of the wall while they are still complaining about the barrier installed along Insular Prison Road last March.

“It is unfortunate that Director General Bantag has decided to order the construction of another wall, this time blocking access to and from Type B in the NBP Reservation, when we are still in the middle of talks regarding the wall they built along Insular Prison Road in March,” Biazon said.

He said BuCor did not have coordination with the local government unit of Muntinlupa regarding the construction of a new roadblock.

“And just like the first wall they built, this wall is also illegal and is a nuisance as defined by Article 694 of the Civil Code for obstructing and interfering with the free passage of a public street,” the lawmaker added.

According to Biazon, BuCor is compromising the safety of residents because it blocked major roads from Southville 3 and Type B.

Because of the wall, police, firefighters and other emergencies will not be able to pass for a quick response.
