Actress-Director Arlene Tolibas Passes Away at 55 Due to Cardiac Arrest

Messages of condolence poured in on social media for Arlene who has worked with almost all artists and producers in the entertainment industry.

On Instagram, actor Gardo Versoza posted a photo collage with Arlene with the words; “Rest in peace.”

Andrea Torres, on the other hand, said: “She’s a very good friend.”

“So sad to hear about Arlene Tolibas. Nakakalungkot at nakakabigla. Nakikiramay po kami sa kanyang mga mahal sa buhay. Rest now my dear Arlene. Salamat sa lahat. Mahal ka namin,” said Ogie Alcasid.

“Rest in Peace,” Randy Santiago commented.

For her part, Wilma Doesnt wrote: “Sumakit naman ang dibdib ko.”

“Oh my. Deepest symphaties,” Aiko Melendez noted.

It can be recalled that Arlene’s life story was aired in the Kapuso drama anthology “Magpakailanman” in 2013 where Sunshine Dizon played her character.

Aside from being an assistant director, she has also starred in several TV shows and movies. Some of the most recent films she has made are “A Second Chance” with John Lloyd Cruz and “Glorious” with Angel Aquino and Tony Labrusca.
