Veteran actor Tirso Cruz III and his wife Lynn Ynchausti took to social media to share that they’re celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary.
Tirso posted their wedding photo on Instagram and shared his thoughts about their special day as the actor remembered their son, TJ, who died last November 2019 after battling cancer.
“Today marks a very special day in our lives as we celebrate our 40th year of marriage. God has been good to us. How we wish you were here with us to celebrate it with Bodie & Djanin. Your mama & I are looking forward to many more years of togetherness. We miss you Teej. We love you,” Tirso said to TJ.
TJ was one of Tirso’s three children with Lynn, along with Djanin and Bodie.

Lynn, for her part, uploaded a video on her Instagram account showing her and Tirso’s sweet moments.
“40 years married, with God at the center of our marriage. Forty years of fun, laughter and joy. And also sadness, trials and tears, enduring all these with the Lord by our side. We praise you and thank you Lord for your presence in our lives,” Lynn said.
Lynn also posted a Bible verse about love at the last part of the caption on her Instagram post.
Tirso and Lynn tied the knot in 1981 and celebrated their 40th anniversary this year.
