Kim Atienza on Mario Maurer: “No, Rabiya is not a fan of yours”
KIM ATIENZA – The Kapamilya host could not help but react to Thai actor Mario Maurer and his message for Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo.
Recently, the Filipino beauty queen shared in an interview with Thai beauty pageant enthusiasts that her favorite Thai actor was Mario and that she’s fond of watching the Thai Boys Love series.
During a virtual media conference, Mario Maurer spoke about the Philippine bet on the 69th Miss Universe.
“I heard that Rabiya is kind of a fan of mine, and I’m very happy to hear that,” he said.
“And, you know, I wish her good luck because I know she’s in the competition, so I wish [her] good luck,” he added.
But Kim Atienza did not like the comment of Mario Maurer.
“No, Rabiya is not a fan of yours, Kakai was and how badly you and your PR team treated her. Just had to say that,” he said.
Kim Atienza was referring to the demand letter sent by Mario’s camp to Kakai in March this year.
The demand letter states that Mario’s team will be forced to file a formal lawsuit against Kakai if she continues to talk about the Thai actor.
They previously worked on Star Cinema’s 2012 movie “Suddenly It’s Magic.”
