Kim Atienza and other netizens have funny suggestion on the possibility of GMA-7 being open to receive a blocktime agreement with ABS-CBN.
It was just recently when reports surfaced that GMA-7 is said to be open to blocktime arrangement with ABS-CBN.
But GMA chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon said that “being open for ABS artists has nothing to do with being open to a blocktime arrangement with ABS-CBN.”
According to him, although there’s no proposal yet, they are not closing their doors.
Among those who commented on the matter is Kapamilya host Kim Atienza or popularly known as Kuya Kim.
“Ang bagong title ng noontime show ay It’s Bulaga at ang primetime news naman ay 24 patrol. Back to you guys,” he quipped.
Kim is referring to the combined titles of the noontime shows It’s Showtime and Eat Bulaga!, and the primetime newscasts of the two stations 24 Oras and TV Patrol.
Several netizens noticed his comment and gave their suggestion as well.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN has a blocktime agreement with A2Z Channel 11 and TV5. Kapamilya shows also appear on cable, online, and iWantTFC.
