Former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada Speaks on Former Pres. Erap’s Condition Now
ERAP CONDITION NOW – Ex-Senator Jinggoy Estrada spoke on the condition of his father, former Pres. Joseph Estrada, now amid COVId-19 fight.
More than 200 countries and territories across the globe have recorded cases of COVID-19. The said disease has shaken several healthcare systems across the globe.
In the Philippines, stricter community quarantine measures are imposed again in several areas amid the increasing cases of COVID-19. The whole National Capital Region (NCR) and the provinces of Bulacan, Laguna, Rizal, and Cavite are currently under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).
Several known personalities contracted COVID-19. One of them is former President Joseph “Erap” Estrada.
Former President Erap was brought to the hospital after his oxygen level dropped. He also had to be transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and be intubated to assist his breathing.

Previously, the former President assured the public that he is strong. He also reminded everyone to be careful from the virus.
The elder sisters of former President Erap and his daughter-in-law, the wife of former President Jinggoy Estrada, also tested positive for the disease. They had a family gathering where the former President was also present.
Recently, former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada gave an update on former Pres. Erap’s condition now. In a social media post, the former Senator said that his father is responding well to treatment and does not anymore need a ventilator.
“We are happy to report that my father seems to be responding well to treatment as his condition has steadily improved… His other organ functions remain stable,” the former Senator stated in his post.
According to former Senator Jinggoy Estrada, it is still a “long way” to go before the former President will be fully out of danger but his family hopes that he continues to fight with his “usual tenacity as only Erap can”.
