DR. RON – The detractor of Patricia Javier’s husband has been accused of spreading fake news about COVID-19.
It was in 2020 when Patricia Javier and her chiropractor husband Dr. Rob Walcher made a buzz online following the false accusations against him and his health clinic by a certain Ron Samaniego.
But it seemed that fate avenged on their behalf after Samaniego was involved in a controversy which even questioned his legitimacy as a doctor.
Samaniego has been dubbed as “Dr. Ron” by his followers on social media, but there seems to be no fact that he is a doctor.
On Wednesday, April 7, 2021, News5 released breaking news with a headline: “Fake Doctor? Physical therapist condemned for spreading misinformation on COVID-19.”
According to the report, the Philippine Physical Therapy Association Inc. (PPTA) condemns Ron Samaniego, who claimed to be a physical therapist.
Samaniego allegedly used social media to spread false information about COVID-19.
Samaniego said COVID-19 is a scam used by the government to make money.
Due to the controversy, Patricia could not help but remember Samaniego’s criticism of her husband, Dr. Rob.
She said: “Sana maging lesson itong nangyari kay Ron para huwag na siyang pamarisan.
“We need to be kind to one another and we should respect each other’s profession,” she added.
