Recently, a merger between Scooter Braun‘s investment company Ithaca Holdings and HYBE’s American branch HYBE America was announced.

Ithaca Holdings was expected to become a subsidiary of HYBE America rather than merging directly with HYBE America, which was similar to how Pledis Entertainment and Source Music became subsidiaries of HYBE in Korea.

Ithaca Holdings’ subsidiary SB Projects was home to a number of big-name stars — including Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, and J Balvin.

In “HYBE x Ithaca Holdings” video, BTS members welcomed those artists to the HYBE family.

According to RM, they’re so happy to see so many artists that they cherished and love become part of the HYBE family, adding that it felt like the world was “getting more connected” and “even smaller”.

Suga said that they’re seeing things they never could have imagined turned into reality, adding that it made them think there were no boundaries or limits to the work that they’re doing.

In addition, Suga said that they can’t wait to see the “endless possibilities” that the merger would bring.

For J-Hope, he hoped they can grow and share positive influence with all the artists that had become part of their new family, adding that they hoped the new adventure will give fans a fresh experience and will be a source of new joy.

According to SEVENTEEN’s leader S.Coups, the group was honored to be participating in the said historic moment as he looked forward to “the future we will build together.”

Vernon finished off the group’s message by saying that he’s excited to find out what kind of dynamic and creative projects they can work on together.
