Traffic Enforcer Arrests Fireman Attempting To Rescue Victims Of Road Accident

TRAFFIC ENFORCER ARRESTS FIREMAN – Following an accident along a highway, a fireman responded to distress call and rushed to the scene.

According to an article from CaseText, there was a distress call regarding an overturned vehicle along Interstate 805 and Canyon Road in Chula Vista. At that time, paramedics arrived on the scene first an attempted to safely transfer the victims.

Unfortunately, they had no proper equipment to safely transfer the victims in a C-spine position. As such, the paramedic went back to the ambulance to retrieve a fist aid bag containing a C-spine collar.

Soon after more ambulances arrived on the scene followed by firetrucks. Due to the sensitivity of the victims of the accident, the firefighters blocked the number 1 and number 2 lane of the south side of the road.

However, the California Highway Patrol officer who came on the scene believed that the firetrucks were not needed and should leave within a few minutes. But, the firefighters did not comply as they had protocols for these types of situations.

Because of this, CHP Sergio Flores, arrested firefighter Jacob Gregoire for non-compliance of traffic laws. Here is the full video:
