Actress Sunshine Cruz recently shared that she taught her daughters Samantha, Angelina, and Chesca how to handle haters online and in real life.
In a report on PUSH, Sunshine shared that she made sure to empower her daughters to be strong and independent women and teach them how to handle haters online and in real life.
According to her, the challenge she faced as a woman was that women were often a bit harassed on social media, which seemed to be one of the challenges for her.
She also shared that it’s hard for her to see her daughters being bullied on social media.
“Ang challenge ko as a woman, madalas kasi sa social media ang mga kababaihan ngayon medyo nababastos tayo. So parang yun yung isa sa challenge sa akin especially for me. Mahirap for me na nakikita ko ang mga anak ko ay nababastos sa social media. That is why lagi kong sinasabi ilaban niyo. Kung alam ninyong nagkamali ang tao sa inyo, you have to give them a lesson. Kasi huwag tayong mag-bingi bingihin, huwag tayong tatahimik,” she shared.

Meanwhile, Sunshine taught her eldest daughter Angelina about the challenges of earning her own money through acting.
According to her, it was something that she showed to her daughters because she’s trying to be a good example to them because a lot of people told her that she’s “kuripot.”
Moreover, Sunshine shared that she told her daughters that they should know how to save their own money.
