Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo proved that his body is still strong after he performed 41 push-ups at a relief distribution in Malate, Manila last week.
This is after Senator Bong Go made him an example to those who attended the distribution that even though he’s already in his senior years, he can still do push-ups.

“Si Sec. Sal kahit senior na ‘yan, magaling pa rin mag push-ups ‘yan,” he said.
According to a report in the Manila Bulletin, Panelo maintains a healthy body through “clean living” where he does not smoke, drink alcohol and involve in gambling.
The video of him doing push-ups is currently making rounds online garnering reactions from amazed netizens.
Meanwhile, Panelo is a Filipino lawyer who serves as the Chief Presidential Legal Counsel of President Rodrigo Duterte.
He previously served as concurrent Presidential Spokesperson from 2018 to 2020 and was the legal adviser during Duterte’s 2016 presidential campaign.
As a private lawyer, he has handled cases involving politicians and other controversial personalities.
He’s a former director of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
