Kapamilya young actor Kyle Echarri revealed that he idolizes Bugoy Drilon when it comes to performing and singing.
Both appeared before the entertainment press at the last Himig 11th Edition virtual presscon for their song “Kahit Na Masungit” which earned the Second Best Song.
Kyle along with Jeremy Glinoga sang “Kahit Na Masungit” (written by John Francis and Jayson Franz Pasicolan) for its music video while Bugoy interpreted it in the Himig 11th Edition Grand Finals.
Following this, Kyle mentioned that Bugoy is one of his idols in the music industry.
“Sa mga hindi nakakaalam, si kuya Bugoy has always been one of my idols in the industry when it comes to riffs, when it comes to the way he sings,” he said.
“I’ve always been a big fan of his and super happy na siya yung kumanta para sa amin ni Jeremy. Idol ko po yan,” he added.
Bugoy Drilon rose to fame after he won the second season of Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA).
On the other hand, Kyle Echarri started his career after being part of The Voice Kids Season 2. He then ventured into acting and now one of the members of the Gold Squad.
