Award-winning actor Baron Geisler revealed the reason why he cut his hair after five years.
In an interview, he said: “Five years din yung buhok ko na yon, ang tagal din. Hahaha!”
According to him, he has played characters that made a mark because of his long hair.
“Nakatulong sa character ko yung hair ko dati, parang naging statement din kasi siya like don sa role ko sa [FPJ’s] Ang Probinsyano at sa Tililing. Kung hindi siguro ganun yung hair ko baka hindi rin ako nai-cast,” he said.
When asked why he decided to cut his hair after a long time, he said: “Kailangan sa isang serye ng Viva na ilalabas sa TV5, eh, kaya ako nagpa-cut. Gusto ko rin ng new look at nire-require yon ng character na gagampanan ko.”
“Ngayon nga, hindi na rin sila natatakot lumapit sa akin at kausapin ako kasi pakiramdam nila ang bait-bait ko na dahil dahil sa bago kong hair,” he quipped.
Baron Geisler last appeared in the movie, Tililing which has been controversial because of its promo poster.
