Agot Isidro on Chris Evans as Smart ambassador
Agot Isidro couldn’t help but react after choosing Hollywood star Chris Evans as the newest ambassador of Smart Communications.
The actor who’s also known for playing the role of “Captain America”- is the company’s new face for their “Live Smarter for a Better World” campaign.
Among those who reacted to the announcement that Chris Evans is the newest brand ambassador of one of the leading telecommunications companies is Agot Isidro.
Recently, she went to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein she posted her reaction to the announcement.
“Hindi ko na naiintindihan, Smart. Nakakarami ba talaga ng subscribers ang mga endorsers na yan?” she noted as the caption on her tweet.
Meanwhile, in a 2-minute advert, Chris inspired people to commit to a more sustainable action through a lasting, positive impact on society after the COVID-19 pandemic’s shift.
As the company’s first-ever Hollywood A-list brand ambassador, it was revealed that the commercial was directed under the helm of Pascal Heiduk, the same director who had done commercial film work for renowned brands like Montblanc, BMW, Mercedes Benz, and so much more.
Smart Communications’ President and CEO Alfredo S. Panlilio shared that the said campaign aimed to empower Filipinos with easy-access technology in order to spark change for a better world.
He also said that through the said initiative, they aimed to create that spark in everyone to “help change the world for the better rather than just settling for ‘good.’“
Chris remained one of Hollywood’s A-list stars after successfully portraying “Captain America” in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Last January 2021, Smart Communications named BTS as the company’s brand ambassador.
