Ganiel Krishnan to Join Miss World Philippines
TV Patrol entertainment reporter Ganiel Krishnan was one of those who appeared at the screening of applicants for Miss World Philippines 2020-2021 at the Red Hotel on Thursday, February 4.
Ganiel is not new to participating in beauty pageants because she was once hailed as second runner-up in Miss Manila on June 24, 2016.
She was also named Mutya ng Pilipinas-Asia Pacific on July 30, 2016, and second runner-up at Miss Asia Pacific International on November 23, 2016.
Before becoming a showbiz reporter for TV Patrol, Ganiel Krishnan also ventured into acting and became a contract artist for Star Magic appearing in an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya and in the television series Oh My G!
She also experienced being a UAAP courtside reporter.
The 26-year-old former beauty queen’s participation in Miss World Philippines was the reason she filed a leave of absence as a TV Patrol showbiz reporter.
In an interview with her at the screening of candidates, Ganiel Krishnan said, “I think I can conquer the world at this time.”
Ganiel Krishnan and the aspiring beauty queens will not only fight for the Miss World Philippines title.
Winners will also be selected for Miss Supranational Philippines, Miss Eco Philippines, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas, Miss Multinational Philippines, Miss Eco Teen Philippines, and Miss Tourism Philippines.
Michelle Dee is the reigning Miss World Philippines.
