Former actress-turned-businesswoman Neri Naig responded to netizens questioning her experiences as a “tindera.”
It started in a recent Instagram post of Neri where she shared that recently, she and her husband Chito Miranda went to an exclusive leisure-residential mountain resort in Tagaytay.
The security guard allegedly stopped them and asked what their purpose was.
In the comments section, some netizens lambasted Neri and contradicted her statement.
A netizen argued that the former actress was “big time,” citing that Neri does not sell in the market and not in the position to say not to be ashamed of selling.
“Sus! Kumbaga bigtime tindero. Khit ako hinde ako mahhiya,” the netizen said.
Neri responded and shared that she used to sell viand before she became an actress.
She also reminded the netizens to not belittle those who sell at the wet market.
Neri Naig started her showbiz career when she joined the ABS-CBN reality-based artista search, Star Circle Quest in 2004.
