Globe-at-Home beat PLDT as Netflix ranked the top Philippine ISPs for January 2021
Globe-at-Home beat PLDT as Netflix had again ranked the top Philippine Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in terms of streaming performance for January 2021.
Netflix Speed Index was a monthly report that measured the prime time Netflix performance of particular internet service providers (ISPs) around the globe.
In a report on Yugatech, both Converge and Globe-at-Home were tied at rank number 1 with a net rating of 3.2 points last January 2021. PLDT dropped to rank number 2 with a net rating of 3.0, while Globe-at-Home maintained its net rating at 3.2.
In addition, Converge dropped its net rating from 3.4 to 3.2, which tied it with Globe-at-Home at the top spot.
Moreover, SKYCable was at rank number 3 with a net rating of 2.8, while Royal Cable — a small provincial cable internet service provider (ISP) in the Laguna area that currently provided fiber internet — was at rank number 4 with a net rating of 2.4.

Back in December 2020, Converge was at rank number 1 with a net rating of 3.4, while Globe-at-Home and PLDT were tied at 2nd place with a net rating of 3.2.
This showed that Converge became the top local ISP for the popular streaming service at that time.
