Darren Espanto on the flooding of Super Bowl fans
DARREN ESPANTO – The Filipino-Canadian singer reacted to the flooding of thousands of maskless fans in Tampa, Florida for the Super Bowl 2021.
On Sunday, February 7, thousands flocked the Raymond James Stadium in Florida to witness the historic game between Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl LV.
However, many were seen maskless especially those who were outside the stadium rooting for their respective teams.
In a video shared by Darren Espanto, others can be seen dancing and chanting without wearing their mask.
According to the clip, 25,000 thousand people who were inside the stadium are wearing masks and around a third of the attendees are vaccinated health care workers.
It added that the city has passed around 200,000 masks prior to the event and even imposed a $500 fine for those who can be seen not wearing face masks.
However, it seems that the mandate was not followed.
