Toni Gonzaga is currently gearing up in the Philippine adaptation of the South Korean romantic comedy film, My Sassy Girl.
Toni portrays the role of Jun Ji-hyun’s character in the movie.
Earlier, TinCan, the producer behind the movie revealed the leading man of Toni Gonzaga.
It took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein it shared that actor-comedian Pepe Herrera will be Toni’s leading man.
“Grateful for your warm response for our Sassy Girl. Today, let us celebrate the guy who will tell her story. We are proud to share with you Pepe Herrera as our leading man for My Sassy Girl. #MySassyGirlPH,” it noted in a post.
The post also shared some glimpse of Toni and Pepe’s scenes in the upcoming movie.
Pepe Herrera will be portraying the role played by Korean superstar Cha Tae-Hyun.
My Sassy Girl which was released in 2001 has been considered as South Korea’s one of the highest-grossing comedy films.
However, TinCan has yet to announce when will it premiere as well as where platforms will it be shown.
