Pampanga Light Up 20-Foot Tall Christmas Tree to Welcome the Holiday Season

Pampanga local government light up their 20-foot tall Christmas tree containing over 2,000 LED bulbs and 24 channel sequencers.

Most Filipino people are already decorating their homes with Christmas trees, lights, accessories, and other decorations. Putting decorations during the holiday season has been already a part of Filipino culture and tradition.

Christmas can be already felt in San Fernando, Pampanga after displaying their huge Christmas tree. The region has been known as the Christmas Capital of the Philippines because of its hand-crafted Christmas parols.

San Fernando, Pampanga has displayed their giant Christmas tree about 22 days before Christmas. The city has also placed “Belen” or nativity to attract tourists and to give joy to the residents.

Aside from the beautiful decorations, the town is also offering delicious foods and desserts such as tamales, puto bumbong, bibingka, suman, and tsokolateng batirol. The town is also known as the culinary capital of the Philippines.

Other provinces have already lit up their Christmas trees and lights during the first week of December to welcome the Yuletide season.
