Viral Student Vendor Freedom Dela Cruz of Parañaque Receives Gadget and Goodies
The viral student vendor identified as Freedom Dela Cruz selling goods in Parañaque City received gadget from kind-hearted individuals.
Last week, Freedom Dela Cruz goes viral online after a Facebook user named Dennis Gorecho shared his photos online selling face masks, face shields, hair accessories, and other products while studying.
Freedom, a second-year Physics student at Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) has been spotted selling goods along Evacon Road in Parañaque City just to earn money to help his family and to support his study as well.
The 20-year-old student earns praises and admiration from the online community because of his dedication in life. He choose modular distance learning, so he could study and work at the same time.
“Hindi po kinakaya ‘yong gastusin sa bahay. Kailangan doblehin ang pagtitinda, Nagbabasa-basa ako ng libro para pagdating ng module, masabayan ko,” Freedom said.
The young man also wants to get a medicine course in the future and doing his best to pursue his studies amid the financial problems. He also values education knowing that it was one of the major keys to success.
Recently, the determined student received a tablet from the program “Kabayan” of TeleRadyo. He also received additional face shields, which he could sell to earn money.
