Globe Telecom named BLACKPINK as the company’s newest brand ambassador.
Globe Telecom on Tuesday had officially confirmed that South Korean pop group BLACKPINK was the company’s newest brand ambassador.
In a report on Gizguide, Globe Telecom noted that BLACKPINK represented the company’s mission to bring world-class connectivity to its customers, it followed through by also bringing in brand endorsers of the same caliber.
“This year has brought unprecedented challenges for everyone, locally and globally. Despite this, we strive to provide customers better everyday experiences that they will enjoy,” Globe Telecom’s President & Chief Executive Officer Ernest Cu said.
Ernest also said that having BLACKPINK joined the Globe family was proof that they wouldn’t stop bringing the world into their customers’ homes as BLACKPINK being one of the world’s biggest pop groups had a huge following in the Philippines.
In addition, Ernest said that they wanted to bring their customers nothing less than the best in entertainment.

As per the report, Globe Telecom also teased that soon the company would bring more surprises featuring BLACKPINK.
To recall, BLACKPINK was a South Korean all-girl pop group formed by YG Entertainment, consisting of members Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo.
Prior to this, Smart tapped South Korean stars Hyun Bin, Son Ye-jin, and Park Seo-joon for its “Simple, Smart Ako” campaign.
