Smart Communications introduced Park Seo-joon as its new endorser
Smart Communications on Wednesday officially introduced South Korean actor Park Seo-joon as its new brand ambassador.
This, as Smart officially announced “GIGA K-Video 99” in partnership with Viu. The said prepaid data pack was its newest treat to Pinoy fans of Korean dramas.
In a report on Gizguide, Smart tapped Park Seo-joon to endorse the said promo. Seo-joon starred a lot of Korean drama hits such as What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, Hwarang, and Itaewon Class.
According to Seo-joon, Koreans and Filipinos uphold common values especially in terms of love for family and friends and he thought this was one of the reasons Korean dramas resonated well with a lot of Filipino viewers.
Seo-joon also said that he’s thankful for the opportunity to urge more Filipinos to enjoy and discover more Korean content and to “take a breather from these uncertain times”.
Prior to this, Smart tapped Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin to endorse its “Simple, Smart Ako” campaign.

Also reported on Gizguide, Smart GIGA K-Video 99 was a prepaid data pack that comes with 2GB open access data and 1GB of data for Viu per day for 7 days.
Viu Premium provided an ad-free access to all Viu premium contents and new Korean content. In addition, it also provided HD viewing and also unlimited downloads as well.
Subscribers can dial *123# and select GIGA K-Video 99 in order to register for the said prepaid data pack.
Smart Communications also announced that it would be available soon through the Giga Life App.
