A security guard scolded Charlie Dizon and Antoinette Jadaone
Fan Girl director Antoinette Jadaone revealed in her tweets that a security guard scolded her, Charlie Dizon, and their companions during the MMFF 2020 Awards Night.
The said movie that also featured Paulo Avelino was included in the official list of entries of this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
During the ‘Gabi ng Parangal’, Fan Girl bagged most of the awards. Direk Tonette shared videos on her Twitter account showing their reaction after the award announcements.
It can be seen in the video that the Best Actor Award was given to Paulo Avelino, they were shouting and the camera was already out of focus because of the excitement they felt.
The same jubilant scenario happened when Charlie Dizon was called as the Best Actress. She was seen jumping from her seat.
The exciting feeling did not stop there as when the Best Picture Award was announced, the intensity of shouting even hyped up.
At first, Direk Tonette said that their shouting when Paulo’s name was called could be the reason why a security guard scolded them. Then, she posted their reaction during the Best Picture announcement.
“Nakalimutan ko ipost ‘tong Best Picture announcement video. Ito yata dahilan bakit kami pinagalitan ni manong guard! Sure ako dahil sa HOMAYGAAAAAAHHHHHHD ni @krizgazmen grabe Black Sheep head pero lakas ng bunganga!!!!!! Ang saya namin, parang may rambol!!!!! Haha,” the director wrote.
Apparently, their excited shouting for winning many awards reached occupants near the area where they were during the awards night. Because of this, Direk Tonette said that they were scolded by a security guard.
