Derek Ramsay Reacts To Accusation That He's Not The Marrying Type

Hunk actor Derek Ramsay answered the accusation that he is not the marrying type of guy.

This accusation against the actor came after his breakup with Kapuso star Andrea Torres. It is because he has been talking about the possibility of settling down with the actress in his past interviews.

However, the breakup still happened. With this, some people accused Derek of not being the marrying type but he debunked this.

Based on the article from PEP, Derek Ramsay pointed out that if people would just look back to his past interviews and social media posts, it can be said that he is also looking forward to getting married someday.

Aside from this, the actor also stressed that he has perfect example of long-lasting relationship – his parents.

“Like I said, I have the perfect example to follow, which is the marriage of my parents. Kaya hindi ko maintindihan ang iniisip ng mga tao na ayokong magpakasal. Ayokong magkamali. Yun lang yung gusto ko,” he said.

He added that he is just taking his time because he does not want to be like those couple who got married but eventually ended their marriage.

Another point that he stressed is having his priority. Derek said that when he decides to settle down, he wants his family to be his priority. He reasoned out that at this time, this is not yet possible, especially in showbiz as projects and engagements are being prioritized.
