PhilHealth contribution increasing in 2021, celebrities react
PHILHEALTH – Celebrities couldn’t help but react after the state-insurer announced that it will be increasing the contributions starting next year.
PhilHealth is currently making the rounds online after announcing an increase in its contributions amid unanswered controversy and a slew of other issues.
The state-run health insurer was the subject of major controversy during the earlier months of 2020.
Among the issues PhilHealth had yet to account for was the alleged P15 billion lost. Furthermore, several of PhilHealth’s top officials resigned as investigations into its alleged corruption began.
But despite the controversy, the pandemic, and the numerous calls for Duque to resign, PhilHealth still announced its latest contribution adjustments. This prompted celebrities to react.
Actor Jason Abalos recently went to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein he shared a report about the increase in contribution with the caption: “Ninanakaw lang naman.”
K Brosas on the other hand said, “Before I sleep… isang malutong na shutanginamez?!!?!!! Haaaay!!!! I kenat!!”
