Bettinna Carlos had recently took to social media as she shared how her nightly prayer for almost five years had been finally fulfilled.
This, after she posted a photo of her daughter on her Instagram account wherein she admitted that she couldn’t help but to cry every time she saw the photos on their wedding day.
“Ang ngiti ng pasasalamat sa Panginoon nang sa wakas ay tupdin Niya ang gabi-gabi niyang dasal ng halos limang taon,” Bettinna said in her post.
In her Instagram post, she shared that she had seen her daughter Gummy crying over the wrong person and had also seen her hope that collapsed in her daughter’s eyes as if she thought that “ayyy akala ko siya na…”
Bettinna also shared that there’s a time when Gummy blamed herself just because her mother wasn’t able to marry.

Bettinna then explained to her daughter that not all parents of single men would agree to marry a woman who already had an obligation.
She then shared that accepting and hugging her — especially her daughter — wholeheartedly by her husband Mikki Eduardo and her husband’s family as if nothing “wrong” with them, even before they personally met, was the sweetest replacement of all tears and grief of her past.
With this, Bettinna then thanked God for hearing and responding to her prayer.
It was last December 2 when Bettinna and Mikki got married “twice and on the same day” at Tagaytay Highlands.
