KFC finally launched its own gaming console

After six months since it’s initially teased on social media, KFC finally launched its own gaming console — the “KFConsole”.

It was last June 12 when KFC teased the initial look of its gaming console under the KFC Gaming brand. The teaser came after McDonald’s “5G Smart Product”, which turned out to be the fastfood chain’s fried chicken.

And since 5G-capable devices were introduced and gaming consoles were officially launched, fastfood chains tend to go with the current trend that could capture the attention of Millenials and Gen Z’s

In partnership with Cooler Master, ASUS, Intel, and Seagate, KFC Gaming finally launched KFConsole — including its technical specs.

Technical Specifications

This console was powered by Intel Nuc 9 extreme with 9th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, hot-swappable GPU slot, 2x Seagate BarraCuda 1TB SSDs, NVMe SSD storage, VR support, Ray Tracing, up to 4K TV Gaming capabilities on supported devices, and 4K 240fps with up to an output of up to 240Hz.

In addition, this console was housed in a custom Cooler Master NC100 chassis. Moreover, KFConsole has a patented Chicken Chamber wherein it utilized the natural heat and airflow which would allow its users to focus on gameplay and to enjoy hot and crispy chicken as well.

Price and Availability

KFC was set to announce the official price and availability of KFConsole soon. Also, KFC didn’t announce the games supported by its gaming console.
