Jonas Gaffud to Vice Ganda: “Ikaw yung Kinoronahan eh, Miss Universe Philippines!”
Vice Ganda jokingly “claimed” the Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) 2020 “crown” for having Ion Perez in his life.
In his Instagram post on November 5, Vice can be seen hugging Ion from behind as he takes their mirror selfie.
“Don’t wanna give my heart away to another stranger,” he said in the caption.
Jonas Gaffud, the Miss Universe Philippines Organization (MUPO) creative director, commented on this.
He joked that Vice was the one who’s actually “crowned” as Miss Universe Philippines.
Jonas said, “Ikaw yung Kinoronahan eh, Miss Universe Philippines!”
Vice replied, “diba! Di ko nga alam kung ano pang pinaglabanan nila! O loko!”
Perhaps, Vice is referring to the controversies surrounding the presentation of Rabiya Mateo as Miss Universe Philippines 2020.
Top 16 semifinalist Sandra Lemonon from Taguig, hinted at the alleged “cheating” that happened at the pageant.
Michele Gumabao, the second runner-up, also did not appear in the media presentation of the winners after the telecast of the pageant.
But the Miss Universe Philippines Organization insisted that the allegations of some candidates were baseless.
Meanwhile, last October 25, Vice and Ion celebrated their second anniversary as a couple.
They held it at a theme park in Laguna where Vice surprisingly launched a music video for her boyfriend titled “Mahal Ako ng Mahal Ko.”
Ion then shared his promise that he will truly love Vice.
