Thirdy Ravena Gives Update on Health Condition After Testing Positive for COVID-19

Thirdy Ravena: “All good over here”

Basketball star Thirdy Ravena gave an update about his apparent health condition after he tested positive for COVID-19.

On Friday, November 27, Japan Professional Basketball League (B.League) announced that the 23-year-old Filipino baller contracted coronavirus.

But earlier in a Twitter post, Thirdy Ravena said that he’s now “all good.”

“All good over here. Appreciate all the love and concern over the past 24 hours. I feel well already but have to follow quarantine protocols indefinitely,” he said.

“Just a reminder that the virus is still out there so let’s not take it for granted. Stay safe everyone!” he added.

Thirdy Ravena, who now plays for San-en NeoPhoenix of the Japanese B.League, scored 12 points and 4.8 rebounds in his recent game.

According to B.League, Thirdy Ravena is a “remarkable player in Asia.”

He is the first-ever player to be signed-in under the league’s Asian Player Quotas system which involves non-Japanese Asian imports.

He’s also prominent in the Philippine basketball scene. In fact, he was once hailed as three times finals MVP of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) for the year 2017-2019.
