A Suzuki Hayabusa or GSX1300R which cost almost one million pesos was completely destroyed after being caught on fire in Negros Occidental.

According to Danny Kim, the owner of the said motorcycle, he was in the middle of Barangay Caliban and Iglauan in Murcia, Negros Occidental when he was about to collide with a jeepney.

He came from Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental for a weekend ride, Sunday, November 22.

Danny Kim, who became startled at the time, tries to hold the brake while it’s slipping along the road.

He then fell from his motorcycle and a spark occurred reaching the leaking fuel tank that eventually engulfed the motorcycle in flames.

The town’s rescue responded immediately.

Danny Kim is a 35-year-old resident of Greenplains Subdivision in Barangay Alijis, Bacolod City.

While some are thankful that the driver did not figure any major injuries, many were saddened on the fate of the almost a million motorcycle.

Meanwhile, Suzuki Hayabusa, a 1300 CC (cubic capacity) motorcycle cost at around 900,000 pesos.

Suzuki Hayabusa is dubbed as the fastest production motorcycle with a top speed of 303 to 312 km/h (188 to 194 mph).

Besides its speed, the Hayabusa has been lauded by many reviewers for its all-round performance.
