Celebrity couple Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola are channeling Crash Landing On You lead characters Captain Ri Jeong-hyeok and Yoon Se-ri.
The said K-drama series on Netflix is also a big hit in the Philippines. Many Pinoy K-drama fans expressed positive feedback.
In a recent Instagram post Jessy, she shared a video and a photo showing how she and her boyfriend Luis channeled the lead stars of CLOY.
It was for an advertisement for the pizza company that they are both endorsing. Luis was wearing a captain’s uniform just like what Captain Ri was seen wearing as he portrayed a soldier from North Korea.
Jessy was also wearing an identical outfit that fashionable Se-ri wore in the series. The Fit For Life host also imitated the long wavy hair that the character of the K-drams leading lady had.
This K-drama stint of Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola is also titled “CLOY” but it stands for “Crust Landing On You”. Watch the video that the actress shared on her Instagram account.
Several netizen found this advertisement of the couple “cute”. Friends of Luis and Jessy in showbiz also expressed fondness in their K-drama stint.
Meanwhile, the celebrity couple who has been together for four years now is being speculated to tie the knot sooner or later. It is because even the mother of Luis Manzano, Star for All Season Vilma Santos has expressed a hint.
She said in a previous interview that she is already anticipating to have her grandchild soon. Since her son Ralph Christian is still studying, she said that she is anticipating that this will happen with Luis.
