Gardo Versoza’s Wife Breaks Silence on Reports About Actor’s Ancestral Home

Gardo Versoza’s wife, Ivy Vicencio, denied that it was Typhoon Ulysses that damaged the ancestral house of the actor.

Recently, two strong tropical storms entered the Philippine Areas of Responsibility (PAR) and brought severe damages to the different areas in the country.

Typhoon Rolly was eyed as a super typhoon and the strongest tropical storm in 2020. However, unexpectedly, while the areas hit by Rolly were recovering, Typhoon Ulysses came and brought heavy rains triggering flood again.

Amid the onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses, many residents of Marikina, Rizal, and Cagayan had to climb their rooftops to get away from the rising water level. The flood reached the 2nd floor of some houses.

Several celebrities were greatly affected by Typhoon Ulysses. Gardo Versoza is one of those whose house was reported to have been damaged by the tropical storm.

However, recently, Gardo Versoza’s wife Ivy Vicencio denied the reports. On Instagram, the actor posted a photo of their ancestral home with a caption, “haaaaayyyyyy our house”.

Based on a report on Pep, Gardo Versoza’s wife clarified that the ancestral home of the actor’s family is just beside their house and it is set for renovation.

“For renovation talaga siya this December… Naka ready na siya, andiyan na yung ibang mga materyales para sa renovation tapos biglang bumagyo,” she said.

Based on the report, the couple initially did not mind when a story was made out of the post of the actor. However, they were surprised when it was reported even on the online news that the actor’s home was damaged by Ulysses.

The family and relatives of the couple were alarmed by the said news. The couple is dismayed over the unverified reports.
