DOH Logs 1,772 Newly-Reported COVID-19 Cases In PH As Of November 3, 2020

DOH had recorded 1,772 newly-reported COVID-19 cases in the Philippines as of November 3, 2020.

The Department of Health (DOH) had recorded 1,772 newly-reported coronavirus cases in the Philippines as of 4:00 p.m. of November 3, 2020.

This, as the Department of Health gave an update on the total number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines as of today.

According to its COVID-19 Case Bulletin #234 dated November 3, 2020, the Department of Health reported 1,772 newly-reported COVID-19 cases. This brought the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus disease to 387,161.

Also, the Department of Health reported 30,876 total active cases wherein 82.5% were mild cases, 10.0% were asymptomatic cases, 4.8% were critical cases, and 2.7% were severe cases.

Moreover, the Department of Health identified the top five areas with the highest number of new coronavirus cases as of November 3 only: Pampanga with 154 new cases, Quezon City with 115 new cases, Laguna with 83 new cases, Baguio City with 70 new cases, and City of Manila with 69 new cases.

Aside from the number of confirmed cases, the Department of Health had recorded 153 newly-reported recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 348,967. Also, the Department of Health recorded 49 newly-reported fatalities, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths to 7,318.

Meanwhile, the Department of Health had recommended symptoms screening and monitoring for all evacuees before going back to their communities instead of COVID-19 testing.
