Disney Introduces Filipino Family For Christmas Ad
DISNEY INTRODUCES FILIPINO FAMILY – Christmas is definitely the most wonderful time of the year, especially for Filipino families.
As such, Filipinos have the one of the most number of Christmas Holidays than any country in the world. This is due to 80% of Filipinos in the Philippines being Catholic.
Along with this, the Filipino tradition of loving and caring for the family has long been embedded in our culture. Unsurprisingly, this also coincides with the spirit and value Christmas brings to families across the globe.
Recognizing this, Disney created its Christmas ad for 2020 featuring a Filipino family. The ad was a heartwarming homage to Filipino tradition and culture spanning generation to generation.
The tear-jerking ad follows the story of a grandma and her granddaughter as the years went by. If you have a soft spot for your grandparents and a nostalgia for Christmas, then this ad will definitely put you to tears.
