Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado had initiated a donation drive as they were set to send a truck full of donations to Cagayan.
This, as Cagayan was a province that was heavily hit by Typhoon “Ulysses” causing massive flooding in the said area.
Dennis Trillo had recently took to social media as he asked for donations in order to fill up the truck.
In his Instagram post, he said that a lot of people in Cagayan still need of their help after the onslaught of typhoon Ulysses.
“Hayaan niyong maging daan kami para madala ito sa kanila sa pamamagitan ng truck na ito,” Dennis said in his post.
Dennis also remarked that they can show their love to the typhoon victims by way of filling-up the truck with supplies and food.

Meanwhile, Jennylyn Mercado said in an Instagram post that they already prepared 1,000 bags of relief goods but there’s still room for more donations since the 25-ton truck was massive.
She also shared that they accepted cash and in-kind donations for the people in Cagayan.
“Wala pong maliit na tulong! YOUR HELP WILL GO A LONG WAY,” Jennylyn said in her post.
