Celebrity couple Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo on Friday donated essential supplies to a public hospital in Marikina.

Based on the photos that was posted on Jennylyn’s Facebook post on September 11, 2020, they distributed several boxes of face shields, face masks, and sanitation supplies such as hand soap and alcohol at Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center in Marikina.

As seen in her post, it showed that she left a letter along with the shipped package for the medical frontliners of the said hospital.

In the said letter, Jennylyn said that gratitude wasn’t enough to compensate for the sacrifices of health care workers who were there to help in order to stop the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Jennylyn was one of the artists who were vocal in expressing their frustration with the plight of frontliners in the Philippines.

It was last July when the actress shared that she was saddened by the nurses at the Philippine General Hospital when they requested mandatory COVID-19 testing and better work schedules that should have been given to them voluntarily.
