Kenken Nuyad needs help
Child actor Kenken Nuyad called for help after their house in Barangay San Jose in Rodriguez, Rizal was flooded and ravaged by Typhoon Ulysses.
During the onslaught of the typhoon, Kenken Nuyad took to Facebook via an FB live to show how floodwaters rise in their residence.
He was with his siblings and other neighbors on top of a house roof their house submerged in the water.
Kenken Nuyad was then interviewed in Unang Hirit and eventually he was rescued by the authorities.
It was on the night of November 12 when he was found by GMA News alongside his mother Jhona Nuyad, barefoot and covered with mud.
The flood subsided by Thursday afternoon so they were able to return to their house but found out that almost all of their belongings were damaged.
“Naghintay lang po kami, wala na po ‘yung tubig. Tapos bumalik na po kami sa bahay,” he said.
For the actor, he will never forget the flood he and his family went through.
“Nasa ulan po ako, nag-iiyakan na po kaming magkapatid po. Kaya naawa rin po ako sa mga kapatid ko po. Sa alaga ko rin po, parang wala na po talaga akong pag-asa,” he added.
“Hindi rin ako mapakali. Kahit na hindi ako marunong lumangoy, nanghingi pa rin talaga ako ng tulong para mapuntahan ko po sila,” Kenken Nuyad noted.
Meanwhile, the child actor and his neighbors are calling for help to recover from Typhoon Ulysses.
