Do you still remember Jane Zaleta?
Jane Zaleta became famous when she starred in Kapamilya Network’s youth-oriented gag show, Ang TV.
She is a batchmate of Camille Prats, John Prats, Claudine Barretto, and Jolina Magdangal.
However, years later she decided to leave showbiz and live a private life.
In an interview, Jane shared her current life and some of the most memorable moments she had while in showbiz.
Jane was 6-years-old when her mother encouraged her to enter showbiz.
She was discovered by Johnny Manahan or Mr. M, the former head of the ABS-CBN Talent Center now known as Star Magic in 1991.
Among Jane’s first shows were Pen Pen De Sarapen on RPN-9 with Connie Angeles and Batibot.
In 1997, Jane joined the prime-time series Esperanza wherein she starred as a close friend of lead actress Judy Ann Santos.
Esperanza is her last teleserye before marrying former PBA player Aris Dimaunahan.
After getting married in 1998, Jane became pregnant with her first child, Alisteirre Jared.
However, four days after giving birth, her baby died due to diaphragmatic hernia.
She later became pregnant with her second child named Christiana.
Jane continues to appear on TV shows such as Flames, Tabing Ilog, and Pangako Sa ‘Yo.
But eventually left showbiz when she got pregnant again with her third child Chanel.
At present, Jane Zaleta works at St. Luke’s Medical Center as Section Manager for the Physician Relations Group.
