Hereâs what Julia Barretto said about an accusation against her
Actress Julia Barretto fired back to the accusation that she does not know how to be grateful.
Just recently, Julia confirmed that she left Star Magic, the talent management company of ABS-CBN, and transferred to Viva Artists Agency.
She said that her transfer was well-coordinated with the big bosses of Star Magic and she has their blessing for this decision.
The actress also shared that her transfer was also prompted by the retirement of Mariole Alberto, one of the heads of the talent management company.
When it comes to her supposed lead role in the upcoming series Cara Y Cruz, Julia Barretto clarified that she just suddenly disappeared out of the blue. It was the decision of ABS-CBN to chose a lead actress from Star Cinema but prior to her transfer, she was present during the pre-production events.
Because of her decision to transfer to VAA from Star Magic that has been handling her career since she was 9 years old, Julia is being accused as âwalang utang na loobâ.
The actress fired back to this accusation against her, based on the article from Bandera. âClose ba sila sa akin? How should they know what I feel? Hindi matatanggal sa akin ang gratefulness and my gratitude sa Star Magic,â she said.
She also stressed that it is a misconception to think that she is ungrateful to ABS-CBN and Star Magic just because she transferred to Viva.
For the actress, her former home network would always want what is best for her and it will respect her decision.
âThey will always be where they think na ikabubuti mo, ikabubuti ng karera mo. And naiintindihan nila ang naging desisyon ko kasi magiging iba na rin ang magiging pakiramdam sa akin lalo na at wala na sila sa Star Magic,â Julia Barretto said.
