Julia Barretto Files Cases Broadcaster Jay Sonza
JULIA BARRETTO – The young Kapamilya actress broke her silence on her decision to file charges against former broadcaster Jay Sonza.
Recently, Kapamilya stars Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson were once again hooked in issues. It was after broadcaster Jay Sonza accused the actress of being pregnant with the baby of the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate.
In 2019, Julia and Gerald became the center of controversies for allegedly cheating on Bea Alonzo. She was accused of being the third party in the breakup of Bea and Gerald.
Both Gerald and Julia denied the accusations. The two celebrities have worked together in the film Between Maybes.
Recently, former broadcaster Jay Sonza made a claim that Julia is pregnant and the father of the baby is Gerald. A lot of people defended the two celebrities.
Julia tagged the claims of Sonza as fake news. The celebrity friends of Gerald including Young JV and Carlo Aquino defended the Kapamilya actor.

What came unexpected as Julia Barretto used to remain silent in the past issues thrown against her is the young actress filing charges against Jay Sonza.
Currently, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is probing the issue. Based on a report on Pep, the young actress stressed that it is the first time that she’s standing up for herself.
“For the first time, I stood up for myself. For the first time, I defended myself. And for the first time, I protected myself,” the actress said.
Based on the report, Julia added that it is important to protect your loved ones but you must also do the same for yourself. Meanwhile, as to how she feels now, the young actress said that she is okay.
Julia expressed that she has a “very good support system” and she feels fine as she’s keeping in her mind that she is much wiser and braver now.
The young actress stressed that things like the issue must only be confirmed or clarified by the people involved or the ones near the subject and not other individuals. Without mentioning a name, she said, “He just confirmed it with no basis.”
