This, after entertainment writer Noel Ferrer confirmed the said news about Al Quinn’s death in his Instagram account.

Singer-actor Ogie Alcasid posted on his Facebook post as he thanked the director for all the mentoring, the jokes, the golf games and tournaments, and all the wonderful times they had in the industry.

You are a cut above the rest. Salute tito Al. Be with Jesus now“, Ogie said.

Actress Iza Calzado posted on her Instagram account as she remembered the many roles the director took in the entertainment industry. According to her, Al Quinn was a choreographer, a dancer, director, and a visual artist.

In her Instagram post, she said that Al Quinn was her father’s friend and he gave her opportunities to shine on television when she’s young and again when she became an actress/host for the awards night that he directed. She even described the director as a “kind”, “gentle”, and “generous” person.
