ABS-CBN TV Production Head Laurenti Dyogi shared some tips to aspiring housemates on “Paano ka ba mapapansin?” while auditioning for Pinoy Big Brother (PBB): Connect.
According to him, he did not expect that there will be a new season of the hit reality competition.
“This is a very unplanned season. We didn’t plan to have ‘PBB’ now but for some, siguro because of fate, and the partnership with Kumu, nabigyan tayo ng pagkakataon ng magkaroon ng ‘PBB,” he said.
As of posting, Pinoy Big Brother has already received more almost 100,000 online applications since auditions started last October 19 in partnership with the streaming platform, Kumu.
“‘Yung iba sinasabi na praktisado na raw sila sa bahay, siyempre iba pa rin kung nasa loob ka ng ‘PBB.’ Sa mga kanya-kanyang bahay natin we still have the comfort — of course komportable naman ang bahay ni Kuya — kasama mo ang pamilya mo, may cellphone ka, may radio ka. Pag nasa ‘PBB,’ it’s a totally different experience,” Dyogi noted.
When asked how the aspirants will capture the attention of the PBB team, he said: “Paano ka ba mapapansin? Make sure that it’s an authentic way of presenting yourself. Kasi kung hindi ‘yun ang totoong pagkatao mo, malalaman at malalaman namin ‘yan.”
PBB: Connect will premiere on various platforms such as Kapamilya Channel, A2Z and Kumu.
Twelve (12) lucky housemates will be part of this year’s edition of PBB.
