Former ABS-CBN broadcaster Ted Failon is now a Kapatid after he officially signed a contract with TV5 on Friday, September 11.
The 58-year-old broadcast journalist inked a contract with Radyo5, the radio arm of TV5 alongside MOR 101.9 disc jockey DJ Chacha, his partner in the program, Failon Ngayon on DZMM.
Among those who were present in the said contract signing are TV5 executive officials; Robert Galang, president, and CEO, and Pierre Paul S. Buhay, vice president for Finance.

It was last August 23, when news broke that Ted Failon is rooting to transfer on TV5.
According to the report PEP.ph at the time, Ted will be bringing his Failon Ngayon staff in his new radio program on TV5.
His program was purported to start on September 21.
It was only on September 8 when News5 head Luchi Cruz-Valdes confirmed in a press conference that Ted is transferring to TV5.
Ted Failon is yet to issue any statement regarding his contract signing.
Meanwhile, Ted Failon and several broadcasters of ABS-CBN were forced to transfer to another network following the shutdown of the network after it failed to renew its franchise.
Many have also decided to shift network including some of the ABS-CBN stars such as Pokwang, Ria Atayde, and Jessy Mendiola.
