Former ABS-CBN journalist Ron Gagalac and former GMA reporter Rhea Santos were two of the Filipino news personalities who joined the newly-launched OMNI Filipino channel.
This, as OMNI News — a local news channel in Vancouver, Canada — officially launched its “Filipino Edition” wherein Filipino broadcasters will report certain issues in Filipino language.
Paula Saraza, Marieton Pacheco Andy Aquino, Theresa Redula, and video journalists Theresa Barrera and Arvin Joaquin were also part of OMNI News Filipino Edition.
Previously, former GMA reporter Rhea Santos posted on her Instagram account as she was proud and excited about her career as a host of OMNI News Filipino Edition.
According to her, she’s marking the day that she’s able to do her passion to tell stories that matter to her “kababayan” in Canada.
