Catriona Gray, new Philippine Red Cross ambassador
Philippine Red Cross Chairman and CEO, Senator Richard “Dick” Gordon confirmed that Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is the new ambassador of PRC.
“I hope I can utilize my platform as ambassador for Philippine Red Cross to call for blood donations, and really call for donations that will allow testing, services of the Philippine Red Cross, to be accessible to every single Filipino.” she said
According to PRC Facebook page, part of Catriona’s future activities is to help spread knowledge about COVID-19 testing, its importance, as well as following health protocols to prevent the virus.

It was in 1947 when the PRC was established with roots in the Philippine Revolution against the Spanish Empire.
PRC is now focused on a wider scope of humanitarian services but initially, it is only involved in the provision of blood and relief in response to disaster-related activities.
National Blood Services, Disaster Management Services, Safety Services, Health Services, Welfare Services, and Red Cross Youth were among the six major services of PRC.
Senator Richard Gordon was hailed as the Chairman and CEO of PRC with Elizabeth S. Zavalla as the Secretary-General.
